Summer Minutes with Megan

If you had to pick your favorite season of the year, what would it be?

If you said summer, then we’re on the same page. (If you said winter, well, you might want to get your head checked out. Just sayin’…)

Summer is the season of so many of our favorite things: long, sunny days, blue skies with puffy white clouds, camping trips, canoe trips, visits to and from family, a garden overflowing with vegetables, outdoor music, campfires, picnics, potlucks, festivals, barefeet, and bright colors bursting from everywhere you look. What’s not to love?

In celebration of my favorite three months of the year I’ve launched a new video series called Summer Minutes with Megan. A few times a week I’ll be shooting a one minute impromptu video sharing favorite moments from my garden, my kitchen and summertime in Madison. I’m hoping to inspire all of us to be in the present moment and really savor the small details that make summer such a special season.

I’m posting them on Facebook, so make sure you’re following me there to get a look at the latest video.

In case you missed them, here are a few of the most popular Summer Minutes from the last few weeks.

Favorite Place to Eat Lunch

This first video introduces the new series and gives you a glimpse of my favorite place to eat lunch. Hint: There’s a view of my garden!

My Favorite Mode of Summer Transportation

Meet my long haul trailer bike – used to transport veggies from the farmers market and grocery store all summer long.

Celebrating the Longest Day of the Year on a Big Lake

This video was shot out of state when my husband and I were on our annual camping trip to celebrate the longest day of the year.

Is there a glimpse of my garden, kitchen or summertime lifestyle you’d like to see me shoot a video about? Leave your suggestions in the comments below this post.
