I help busy creative entrepreneurs get better results in their business by bringing their ideas to life.

You’ve got an exciting idea for an innovative product, unique service, or valuable content and you’re anxious to launch it into the world because you know it would make a difference in your clients’ lives.

But, as an entrepreneur with an already overflowing plate, you always have more ideas than time to follow through on them.

You need a partner (right-hand woman) to help you think things through and create a plan. Someone who will be just as passionate about your business as you are and will also bring the skills and know-how around how to fill in all the pieces to actually make your project happen.

It’s easy to get stuck in the idea phase without a plan for moving forward.

But, your won’t have an impact on your customers and the world if all of your great ideas stay hidden away in your brain.

You’ve got to move beyond idea into action.

An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.

Buddha

That’s where I come in – my superpowers lie in keeping even the largest visions on track so they can come to fruition!

As an online entrepreneur myself, I know how hard it can be to create, implement and manage an entire project alone. Things like writing and promoting books, developing online courses, or building out a content plan can be overwhelming with all of their moving parts.

Now it’s time to divulge my other superpower – getting sh*t done.

Not only am I a master at creating the plan, I also shine when it comes to following through on tasks in order to construct your vision. I’ll have a laser-like focus on your project.

But, I don’t just keep my nose to the grindstone. Although I’m an extremely hard worker, I’ll also bring my lighthearted humor and quick laugh to our every interaction.

In fact, when my sister was reading over this part, she suggested I make sure people know I’m a friendly person, not just a pit bull. She suggested the term, “friendly pit bull”.

Personally, I’ve never compared myself to a pit bull at all. Not even a friendly one. And I’m not quite sure that putting “friendly” in front of it achieves the image I’m going for. Thanks anyway, sis!

How I can help you.

I’ll leverage my vast experience bringing my own big ideas to life as an entrepreneur to support you through these critical project phases:

Ideation

You’ve either settled on an idea or need help sifting through the multiple options that are in your head. To make sure you don’t get stuck in this phase I’ll assist you in fleshing out your big idea or we’ll immerse ourselves in a few of your ideas and come up with a final option.

Research

Before you invest a lot of time and energy into your idea, you need to do some research. If you’re too busy with running the day-to-day of your business to devote time to research, I can step in and gather more information on your topic, report back on other offerings in your niche, and share ideas about how you can make your idea different than what’s already out there.

Validation

Before you go into the full execution phase, it’s important to test out your idea with your audience to make sure it’s something they’re interested in. If you’re nervous about asking for feedback, need another pair of ears to listen, or want help asking for feedback from your community I can assist you with this step. I’ll help you craft a survey for your audience, jump on calls to interview key clients you’ve identified, create a trial run for a small group, or test your idea on social media to see if it resonates with your community.

Design the Roadmap

It’s time to delve into the details to draw the map of how you’re getting from idea to completion. I’ll take charge of  plotting out timelines and drafting task lists to prevent you from getting overwhelmed with the details. Then we’ll assign tasks to the team (even if it’s just me and you!) and agree on key milestones we’re aiming for.

Get Sh*t Done

This phase is all about sticking to the plan and following through on tasks. With a careful attention to detail that’s my signature style, I’ll get to work on my assigned tasks. I’ll foster a strong momentum to keep the project moving forward and make sure things don’t fizzle out. (This happens to a lot of entrepreneurs.) I can also help communicate with and support other team members and contractors and keep them on schedule.

Promotional Strategy & Launch

If you’re launching a new product or service this part of the process can have so many moving pieces that it can be difficult to see how they all work together. I’ll step in during this phase by taking the lead in implementing your launch strategy and supporting you throughout the process.  I’ll help assemble all of the pieces of content into a marketing campaign, make sure all of the parts are functioning correctly, and be your go-to person for troubleshooting.

Evaluate

This is the trickiest phase of completing a project because by this time you’re probably tired. I’ll help you evaluate the process we just went through to launch your product or service or complete a project to gain insights you can use next time to make it even more successful. I’ll help you break down what worked and what didn’t and compile all of this information into a report, so you’ll know what needs to change for the next time you launch a big idea.

Here's what I can do for you and your business.

I can help you organize and execute on all of these parts to move your project from the idea phase all the way through to completion. I can step in and direct the tasks that will contribute to completing your project: building a project roadmap, creating a timeline to hit project milestones, assigning individual tasks, keeping everyone on schedule, and delivering your desired result.

More about Megan

When I’m not immersed in a work project you can find me planting, harvesting or chatting with my neighbors in my huge front yard vegetable garden.

On the weekends I’m usually out and about working towards my goal of being on 52 different trails this year (road biking, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and walking!).

I have a bit of yin and yang about me, just like we all do. That’s what makes each one of us so unique and interesting, right?

On the one hand, I’m a highly organized planner. I’ve always been a project-oriented person, so it’s a natural talent of mine to create a plan, map out all of the steps, get to work filling in all of the pieces, and bringing the project to completion.

You can see all of the ideas I’ve brought to life here on my resume here.

But, I’m also able to improvise and wing it sometimes. For example, in 2019 my husband and I took a year long sabbatical to travel around the US in a teardrop trailer camping, hiking, mountain biking and visiting friends and family.

We were on the road for 381 days and only made camping reservations for about 9 of those nights. I didn’t map out our whole year and sometimes I didn’t even know what we were going to do the following day. We even flipped a coin sometimes to decide.

It took a lot of planning and work to get us to the sabbatical year, but once I was there I focused on enjoying the present moment and letting the plans and expectations be flexible and fluid.

I think the combination of these two personality traits allows me to get an incredible amount of work done in my business and life, but prevents me from being rigid. I realize that even the most well thought out plan may need to change.

And because I’m a problem solver I can pivot whenever needed and start brainstorming and implementing Plan B.

Our sabbatical year was filled with Plan B’s, and C’s, and D’s…
